Marathon Organizers Send Runners Down A Dead End Street

Someone's got some 'splain'n to do. Runners of the Maine Marathon are pissed, after a course mistake sent many runners down a dead end street before looping them back onto the original course. Thus, some runners actually ran 26.7 miles instead of 26.2

The error cost some runners a chance to qualify for the Boston Marathon.

The course was corrected but, because not all runners ran the extra distance, officials say they can't simply adjust the times.

Race director Charles Melton said they will offer refunds to those who missed qualifying for Boston because of the mistake.

WOMP, WOMP, WOOOOOMMMMPPPPP.
