Jorge and Friends
My name is Jorge and I will am going to tell you
about me. I was born in Guayaquil-Ecuador.
Ecuador is located in South America, mostly known
as the "Pearl of the Pacific". I came here with my entire
family in the early 70's, My parents Victor and
Lola Quiroz (now deceased) I am the 6th child of 7th,
I have 3 sisters and 3 brothers, I am also a father of
4 girls and a grandfather of 6. At a young age I
participated in a local television shows Ecuador doing
lipsinging and imitations until we left for the good USA.
My port of entry was in New York City, in which
I resided for many years.
I served the United States Army, attended
Marshall University and currently work for
the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System.
I have been with the Station since August of 2004,
started as the "Ecuadorian Moview Reviewer"
until early 2006 in which I was offered my very
own show and is called "Jorge and Friends"
in which airs every Saturday morning from
10am till 12noon, Eastern Time. During the week
I am with the Morning Freakshow with Mikey and
BigBob. (Thursdays and Fridays) from 6am until 10am
Mikey and BigBob has been a inspiration in my
current career. They are the best!! Thanks guys!!
