Description:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Clear Channel Media + Entertainment Pittsburgh has an immediate opening for our next Digital Program Director to oversee the clusters digital department. You must be able to create and manage content that drives traffic across our digital and social media platforms. Are you plugged into pop culture, sports and music 24 hours a day? Are you able to spot the next online phenomenon, before it explodes? Do you have ideas worthy of going viral?

Oversee the entire digital department including the operations of websites, social media platforms, and emerging digital technologies.

Oversee personnel assigned to the digital department and monitor the quality and efficiency of the work

  • Schedule personnel appropriately to handle tasks

  • Manage time of department employees, creating work schedules that are in accord with allotted hours for each employee

  • Hold weekly one on one meetings with department personnel to address challenges, performance evaluation, and opportunities

  • Evaluate department employee performance on a monthly basis, offering coaching, continuous tips for improvement in their quality and efficiency, and defining expectations

Drive digital growth

  • Create engaging content ideas, contests, platforms, and other elements to increase digital usage levels on cluster station websites, social media platforms, and emerging technologies

  • Monitor goals for growth as outlined by CCRD and offer guidance and support with a guided effort from the department to exceed goals, including but not limited to, daily and monthly web and digital platform usage, database growth, Facebook fans, and Twitter followers

  • Analysis of metrics and diagnostics to shape strategy.

  • Work in conjunction with programming staff to create and maintain content that is promoted across all platforms including on-air and digital

Create and Fulfill Sales Opportunities

  • Create and oversee effective promotions that support and increase interaction with Clear Channel clients

    • Create content specific to drive impressions for clients

    • Create partnership opportunities to co-benefit clients and programming

    • Create digital assets for client advertising and interaction across our digital platforms

Reporting structure

  • DIGITAL PD reports to Vice President of Programming

  • DIGTIAL PD works with and takes direction from Program Directors

  • DIGITAL PD works closely with VPS, Sales Managers and Director of Digital Sales

  • DIGITAL PD oversees personnel assigned to digital department

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Min 2 years managing digital content.

  • Experience managing and coaching a staff.

  • Working knowledge of web design and development fundamentals.
