If you haven't been paying attention, the Pirates have been doing a weird hand sign during some games this year and a lot of people have been asking us what it's all about.
It's the ZOLTAN sign from the movie "Dude, Where's My Car?". Yes....timeless cinema.
There's even mentions of it in THIS Post Gazette article which says it really started during a road trip in Atlanta with Neil Walker and really got out of control when Rod Barajas hit his walk off HR last Tuesday vs. the Nationals

"We just started doing it, we've been raking ever since," said starter A.J. Burnett, "that was my favorite part of the night, seeing 20 guys behind home plate doing that. It shows you what a group we have."
Steve Blass and Greg Brown even wrapped themselves in bubble wrap and did the ZOLTAN sign in the booth
