Ray Kelly said the gunman suspected of attacking a crowded movie theater in Aurora, Colorado resembled Batman’s arch-villain “The Joker” at the time of the shocking attack.
“We have some information, most of it is public. It clearly looks like a deranged individual. He had his hair painted red, he said he was ‘The Joker,’ obviously the ‘enemy’ of Batman,”

24 year old James Holmes had recently moved to Colorado from San Diego, Calif., to pursue a medical degree. He was a PhD candidate in neuroscience at University of Colorado medical school but was in process of withdrawing.
Holmes doesn't have a criminal record in Colorado or in San Diego where he graduated from high school.
Also Pentagon officials said there is no record of Holmes having served in any branch of the military.
