What a superhero

Christian Bale showed up at the Medical Center of Aurora on Tuesday afternoon. With no media following him to take pics or anything he just went to visit with seven patients injured in in the shooting that are still getting treatment.

Here he is visiting Carey Rottman who was one of the victims in the shooting.

Bill Voloch president of Medical Center of Aurora said "Bale spent about 2½ hours at the hospital, where he met with five people still being treated for their injuries. Two others came from Swedish Medical Center. The patients were really happy to meet Bale they are obviously big fans of his movies and were really pleased to see Bale."

Bale and his wife also stopped by the growing memorial outside of Theatre

A rep for Warner Bros released a statement saying "Mr. Bale is there as himself, not representing Warner Brothers."
