Some people will say the fact that the redneck show 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' beat the Republican National Convention in ratings is what's wrong with America. Not us. It's what's RIGHT with America! USA USA USA!

Wednesday night was the 4th episode of 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' on TLC and it hit a ratings high with just under 3 million total viewers and a 30% increase from the 3rd episode. 

In the coveted demo, adults 18-49, 'Honey Boo Boo' beat all other cable shows on the night, INCLUDING coverage of the Republican National Convention.

Now, being honest, a LOT more people watched the Republican Convention than watched 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo', BUT, since an event like a convention is shown on so many different stations, it allowed for Honey Boo Boo to get the win.

Fox News had a 1.2 adults rating as compared to Honey Boo Boo's 1.3.

Honey Boo Boo had a better demo rating than ABC and CBS combined in the demo and beat NBC just barely by a tenth of a point.

Politicians lie and have trouble showing voters the 'real' them, whereas June (Momma) showed the nation her 'Forklift Foot' despite wanting to keep it tucked in her sock. That's as real as it gets.
