UPDATE: TMZ is reporting that Lindsay Lohan had NO idea that she even hit anyone with her car until she was arrested for it, she thinks the whole situatuon is 'fishy' since the man had no visible injuries AND she plans on fighting the charges. 

TMZ also says there is surveillance video from outside The Dream Hotel where Lindsay allegedly hit a pedestrian with her car and it's a real stretch to say this was a hit and run.

Two detectives have reportedly viewed the video...one detective says that Lindsay's car may have grazed his leg, the other detective said it doesn't appear that Lindsay hit him at all. 

THEN, the video shows the man RUNNING up the ramp after Lindsay even though he never reportedly confronted her....seems a bit far fetched that Lindsay hit him with her car if he ran full blast after her right after he was hit. 

The accuser also claims that Lindsay was slurring her words and reeked of booze. 

Lindsay was leaving a Slash show where she was backstage and which apparently had no booze backstage since Slash is sober

TMZ is reporting Lindsay Lohan was arrested in downtown NYC this morning for leaving the scene of an accident.

Lohan was pulling her Porsche into a parking spot around 2am and hit the knee of 30 year old guy that was walking by. One of Lohan's friends got out looked at the car for damage and then they got out and went into the hotel.

Police were called and Lohan was arrested around 2:30am.

The guy that got hit didn't have any visible injuries but went to the hospital just to make sure nothing was wrong.

Lindsay was booked for leaving the scene of an accident a misdemeanor and then released. A misdemeanor usually isn't a huge deal but the arrest could trigger the super probation that judge in LA put her on that clearly stated she needs to obey all laws.
