This morning we got a call from a mom who was fighting back tears telling us how she took her son that is battling leukemia to the Wiz concert. Wiz brought the kid backstage and made the kid feel like a hero

Just a great call

Nothing beats a good Wiz Khalifa show right before the holidays....if you missed it, Scott Mervis has a good recap of the show from the Post Gazette including part of Wiz's speech to the hometown crowd....

"You guys pushed me to the top," Wiz said, "I smoke weed cause I'm from Pittsburgh, I dress weird cause I'm from Pittsburgh, I talk funny cause I'm from Pittsburgh."

Before the soundcheck, before the show, we walked into a basically empty Consol Energy Center while DJ Bonics warmed up. Wiz was on the floor just riding around on a skateboard before doing his own soundcheck.

Wiz kicked the show off with 'Black and Yellow'...jumped right into it and brought out the Jerome Bettis throw back too!
