UPDATE: The ratings are in after the big Idol 'Mariah/Nicki' fight and....16 million people watched, which is still a BIG number for a TV show but down 10% from last week's season premiere EW.com
So, the HUGE Nicki Minaj vs. Mariah Carey blow out fight that halted Idol auditions for a day...was REALLY dissapointing when the fight aired on Wednesday night's episode during Charlotte auditions.
It started when Keith Urban reacted to a contest saying she 'tried to do the country thing', he told a little offense to that, then she sang....she was good....all 3 judges had nice things to say about her...then it went to Nicki and she just started ripping on all Mariah and Randy.
It made really no sense, at no point did it seem like the huge fight it was built up to be and at no point was it just a Mariah vs. Nicki fight.....Randy was right in there too.
Nicki walked off the set, auditions were stopped for the day....it was basically a let down...

Originally, the fight seemed a lot bigger with Mariah claiming Nicki made death threats...TMZ even had a video where Mariah and Nicki were going at each other pretty bad that NEVER was aired on the Charlotte audition episode.
Seems like the fight was a lot more myth than it actually was in reality and Idol edited out all the good stuff
