Christian Bale is an awesome human.
In the past he visited some of the Aurora shooting victims unannounced without any media. He flew a family to Disney to have lunch with him before. Those are just a few things that have shown up online and made their way into the media.
In the video below that was posted by Zach's family you will see 8 year old Zach who is a really big Batman fan currently in the hospital fighting leukemia on the phone with Christian Bale just having a chat about Batman.
Zach tells him all about his Batman costumes, his cardboard Batmobile and even how he convinced his little brother how he is The Dark Knight.
Before Bale got off the phone he told Zach that speaking with him made his day. He said he'd tell the lady who plays Catwoman and the man who played Bane and even the director about their conversation because they love to hear when I speak to someone who is a big fan of the movies. It makes us all so happy.
