Matt Cooke went in to the boards with the Senators super star Erik Karlsson during Wednesday nights game and Karlsson went down.
Twitter exploded calling Cooke a goon and what he did intentional.
You can see Cooke trying to get position the foot lifting and coming down on the back of the leg.

In the third period word came out that Karlsson has lacerated Achilles
Update on Karlsson: Erik suffered a laceration to his left achilles, which will require surgery to repair. He will be out indefinitely.

Cooke ended the game by getting punched in the face a few times by Senators goon Chris Neil. No word on if Cooke will be suspended. If you are a Senators fan you probably think he should.
