Update: Paula lost three more deals today after her appearance on the today show.
Walmart has dropped Paula and will no longer sell her branded items in stores.
A Wal-Mart spokesperson said - “We are ending our relationship with Paula Deen Enterprises and we will not place new orders beyond those already committed, We will work with suppliers to address existing inventories and agreements.”
Caesars Entertainment also plans to re-brand the four Paula Deen inspired resturants they currently operate. A spokeperson said - “While we appreciate Paula’s sincere apologies for statements she made in her past that she recently disclosed during a deposition given in response to a lawsuit, after thoughtful consideration of their impact, we have mutually decided that it is in the best interests of both parties to part ways at this time,”
She also lost Home Depot. A spokesperson from Home Depot who confirmed that the company would stop carrying Paula Deen branded items.
The Paula Deen meltdown continued Wednesday morning on the Today Show... She lost her Food Network show and her ham endorsement after she admitted using a racial slur during a legal deposition.
New York Post is reporting Paula Deen has hired Judy Smith the crisis PR guru who is the inspiration that the ABC show "Scandal".
