[Updated 1:02 p.m. ET] President Barack Obama called on Americans to heed local storm evacuation orders Monday. Anyone who doesn't follow evacuation orders, he said, is "putting first responders in danger."
According to the National Weather Service, water levels in most coastal areas are up nearly 5 1/2 feet over the normal levels.
The storm is expected to affect nearly 60 million people through flooding, power outages, and debris. Use caution when driving as winds and rain pick up in the Pittsburgh area this afternoon/evening.
