The United States Postal Service plans to end Saturday delivery service by August of this year...

The USPS has been struggling for years now and plans to end normal mail delivery service on Saturdays starting Aug 1, but will continue to deliver packages.

The move will save the floundering institution $2 billion per year. USPS has lost billions in recent years due to the advent of electronic exchanges and e-commerce.

If you get your paycheck delivered on the weekend, you'll now have to wait until Monday.

This sucks for the US (in my opinion). The United States Postal Service is a long standing institution that has set us apart from other countries throughout the world, and is now slowly dying. Are we going to just let China win? #SMH
